I wonder how many people read my Tumblr.
Out of my ___ followers. I wonder who actually reads what I write?
Honestly, it always boggles my mind when I hear anyone talk about any of my posts. Especially the ones that don’t get likes or anything. It’s like wtf. I’ve touched on it before on a question asked but I like to pretend that my Tumblr is my own private journal for me to read and strangers to look at sometimes.
Well…this is going to be hard as hell. But…
I’m going to give up Tumblr for Lent.
Which starts this Wednesday. 40 Days. Lol…last year I gave up facebook but I knew that wasn’t really as much of a sacrifice as Tumblr.
This year…I know I should give up something big. Something that’s in reality, just an unneeded luxury for me. It requires time and effort that could be spent better else where.
I love what this blog has become for me. A place of silent refuge. A place for endless shenanigans. A place for heartfelt rants. A place to splatter my emotions and feelings over a blank canvas. A place to connect with multiple people on a range of emotional levels. A place of refuge.
Maybe I’m being a bit over dramatic but hey. It’s my Tumblr so I can write whatever the hell I want. I’m going to miss wasting time on here…Lol…my time consuming task. Haha whatever. I don’t think I’ll have enough time to fool around here tomorrow since I have a 10 minute power point I haven’t started due Wednesday. I’m really going to miss it…sigh.
But yeah. Maybe this will be my last post for the next 40 days. Or I guess 41 days if I don’t go on tomorrow…but I just want to thank everyone that’s read or kept up with my Tumblr for being at least in one way, a part of my life.
Lol would it be cheating if I just keep a list of blogs to check daily? Haha ahhhh! That Tumblr addiction. Ok. Seriously. Lol I should stop now…
